I have never liked this cover. The clown face is just so ugly. It turns me off so much I have yet to read the book.
that's unfortunate, it's a great read.
I actually really like the design of this book. If you read the story it would make more sense! I got this book for Christmas and I couldn't wait to read it because the cover looked so fascinating. The splatter (which I figure is blood) is a neon orange, which creates a nice contrast against the simple black and white sketch of the girl. When the book is flipped over the girl's full face is visible, which cleverly foreshadows the story.
