A neat and wonderful solution which pays homage to the original covers.
The weird little design elements and 50 million typefaces on the bar at the bottom of book cover on the Penguin Deluxe Classics always bothers me. What is the point?
I only see 3 typefaces being used in the bottom portion of this cover.
An exaggeration, obviously, but it still seems a bit over-designed. Maybe this is because I like the cleanliness of the Penguin Classics or something.
